At Toit Propre, every contract is executed following the same rigorous protocol, without exception. This level of standardization allows us to guarantee consistent and impeccable results, regardless of the property.
Step 1 — Pre-intervention inspection
Before touching anything, our technician visually inspects the entire roofing: shingle condition, presence and level of moss/lichens/algae, flashing and gutter condition, difficult access areas. This inspection determines the necessary SH concentration and optimal contact time.
Step 2 — Vegetation protection
This is a non-negotiable step. We abundantly pre-rinse all shrubs, trees, flower beds and surfaces in the runoff perimeter. In some cases, we also cover the most fragile plants.
Step 3 — SH + surfactant mix preparation
The SH/water ratio is calculated based on inspection results. A roof with severe lichens requires a higher concentration than a roof with light streaks. The surfactant is always dosed according to manufacturer recommendations for maximum effectiveness.
Step 4 — Low-pressure application
The mix is applied uniformly across the entire roof surface at very low pressure. During this entire step, a technician maintains vegetation rinsing.
Step 5 — Contact time and monitoring
SH needs time to work. We monitor the roof during contact time and adjust based on current conditions. We never leave before confirming the treatment is effective.
Step 6 — Final rinse and report
Once contact time is reached, we perform a final rinse of vegetation and adjacent surfaces. A before/after photo report is provided to the client.
